Comic books, magazines of story panels used to tell a heroic and humorous tale, have been around for hundreds of years. Just like books, many people - from young children, to teenagers, to adults - have used, or still use, comics to relieve stress and/ or experience an adventure. We also appreciate the illustrations and storylines that artists and writers create. Popular comic book publishers include:

The Avengers - Movie trailer

-- Marvel Comics -- officially founded in the 1960's with Stan Lee as editor, and responsible for popular characters such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, the X-Men, Hulk, Captain America, the Fantastic Four, and the Avengers.

-- DC Comics -- founded in the 1930's and responsible for popular characters, such a Batman and Robin, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, and the Justice League of America.

What I wanna know is...

So, with all the popular and not-so-popular comic book characters and all the recent comic books turned into movies, I'm sure that everyone is familiar with at least a few of these superheroes. What I wanna know is who are your 2 favorite comic book heroes?

My favorite comic book heroes are:

1) Spider-Man, because he's young, smart and makes spiders seem less threatening;

2) Iron Man, because he has that awesome suit, access to great technology, and he's a lady's man;

3) Daredevil, because he uses his injury or disability to his and his community's advantage, he turned a negative into a positive.

And what are your comments on comic books transitioning into movies?
